I dunno man, I feel like after tunnelling around for long enough with the mattock of misery and the pickaxe of pessimism one ends up hitting the bedrock of stable, comfortable apathy.

Although I do seem to never run out entirely... still, Happiness feels pretty damn endless too when you happen upon a large deposit of it, though it does tend to burn away pretty quickly at great cost to the surrounding environment - like an oil/gas seam fire. Maybe one day I'll manage to ignite one that burns forever.

My old hard drive is officially dead, while I did successfully recover some files, the vast majority is lost forever.

That includes a personal Dwarf Fortress mod that I have been building on ever since 2007.  Gone forever,  I don't even remember how to do some of the shit I did with it.
