It's not sudden, my hair has been thinning up top since I was 16. I have worried about that before, but I thought it would stop after a while and hold off on actually going bald until I was 30 or 40, like what happened with my uncle.

I hear stress is a pretty big factor in hair loss. Maybe brush up on some stress-relief activities?

I've developed a huge bald spot atop my head. I'm 21. For the first time in my life, I'm having stomach-churning anxiety about my appearance (though I've known some far less severe anxiety there before). And I also feel like I'm being a vain dickhole for feeling like that.

Go full Xavier, shave it down to nothing. That's always been my plan if male pattern baldness decides to strike suddenly.

Granted, in my case, that would make my head look more like a large boulder than it already does, but hey, street cred.

I used to shave my head occasionally. Then I got married, and my wife won't let me because she says it makes me look like an alien with how big my head is.

But then if I shave my head will I be able to get a job? I mean, not that being top-bald in one's 20s would help in that department either.

I'm starting to wonder if any of the hair loss products actually work. Because I've heard that male pattern baldness has even less treatment options than cancer.

The question is, do you like suits?

A clean suit (no pattern), a solid tie (slim), and an appropriately sharp (preferably a solid color at full saturation, Pure Black, Pure Red, Pure White, etc) dress shirt can work really well with being bald.

I mean, try not to look like you're cosplaying the Hitman games, but bald+suit can look really nice if you put the effort in.

Just resist the urge to get a spider tattooed up there and you'll be fine.

If I'm struck by sudden baldness, I'll look even more like an evil elf than I already do. Would be able to do some sick cosplay, though.

I don't want to look intimidating though! I've always put off a gentle and approachable vibe, or so I'm told.

If you want a real sad:

I was going to do things today. Instead, I spent sixish hours with severe stomach issues. At one point I passed out and woke up on the ground with no idea how I had gotten there but it seemed I'm pretty sure I threw up (which occasionally happens in my family, so I'm not too worried) and had double vision and extreme fatigue (and my skin was pale and almost yellow) afterwards from a massive amount of fluid loss.

I'm feeling better now but I still had to cancel all my plans for today.

...Those are all signs of some rather serious things. Please go see a doctor, if you can.
