We all owe our very lives to him. Also, WWII wouldn't have happened without WWI, and where would vidja games be without that? My endless, seemingly-futile quest for happiness (or at least contentment) continues, and is entering a new phase after the last one failed entirely.

I have so few options, and I hate all of them equally. I feel like my unhappiness has become this thick shroud or blindfold covering my mind's eye, so that whenever I try to think about my choices and picture myself choosing each path, all I see is the worst-case scenarios and all the aspects of them that are likely to upset me.
