My heart surgery a few years back didn't quite achieve the results I wanted. I don't have the spikes where my heartrate hits 300bpm anymore, but my resting heartrate is slowly raising. 110 to 130 sitting.

That's not good?  That's not good...

Well, it's half-good.

But, uh, good luck?

I wanted to get up at noon or even ten AM so I would have some time to enjoy by myself before work began. Here I am, finally crawling out of bed less than an hour before my shift, all of my alarms having gone off and failed to get me up.

Cold don't make you sick.

Unless you're hypothermic.

Disclaimer: My life is pretty great, on the whole.

My parents basically reminded me that I have nearly no real friends today, which reminded me how I deal with all my emotional problems by ignoring them. Specifically it was in the context of how most people don't share as much with their parents as I do, and have other support networks built up. I figured that until my girlfriend get back from Taiwan and I start college, since I don't reallyuse social media, I would sorta use this as a way to vent or something.

Well, today was !!FUN!!. Got information on hormone blockers today, and realised that my parents are actually hugely in denial about me being trans. Once again, I have realised, that they have unconditional love for their son, yet not me. And, they are also extremely old-fashioned, and bad at changing.

But nothing new, really :/.

@Digit: Denial isn't a state of permanence :O As long as you've access to knowledge and education--it will help you, and it will help them. They're working with what knowledge they've had, and sadly this at times mean that they may perceive things very differently than others especially if the idea is not well-known, and especially if this is a 'seems like a' personal thing.

Best advice is to always leave space for understanding; they may get around with it, or they won't--this is something for them, but keep being yourself, since that is you. :D Ask help from others in the profession dedicated to aiding and providing knowledge; they can help with that matter especially. If not directly, they can help you work with those matters.
