I'm pretty sure they're legally bound to treat everyone who walks in with a problem.
To do otherwise should be considered murder or manslaughter.

They have to do something, but they don't have to try very hard... The quality of American hospitals are geared towards the income level of their clients AND the quality of care they provide is also likewise geared towards their income level.

This isn't a new or unknown aspect of American Healthcare.

He is getting second hand treatment as a second class citizen.

He went to the ER and they are stumped.

If that has ANYTHING to do with them not going for obvious tests... I'll be pissed at them.

If my friend is the one being an idiot... I'll be pissed at him.

There are symptoms I haven't even added... I am honestly scared he is dying.
What tests have been done?

I am unlikely to get that answer from him.

I do know that they did a test that was able to tell he had a Cyst on his cerebellum.

So probably a MRI.

Which yes, if they did a MRI and STILL don't know what is causing his degenerative condition... there isn't much they can do.

MRI is good for checking for unusual structures but bad for microscopic things. Tests to check blood content usually take longer.

I punched in all of the symptoms he had that I could...

I don't know if I am relieved that he could have anything across the gambit of the common cold, to Pnmonia (dang it spell check!), to his heart basically being about to shut down completely.

Or concerned because I don't know what the HECK he could have... >_<

But... he has been sick for a while now... and it is getting worse.

I am unlikely to get that answer from him.

Medicaid? Probably... I don't want to bug my friend for details... Even to alleviate my own worries since he probably has it a lot worse.

Shit. I can't decide what I should do and this indecisiveness is making me miserable.
Uproot and expend a great deal of effort to move to a new place of my own, where I would most likely be happier? Or just take the easy road and stay here, and hope things get better? Just now I went to order something I've wanted to buy for a while and realised I don't know if I will be here long enough for it to be delivered to me.

I really need to make a decision so I can start working towards whatever I'm gonna do.
But it's a big decision and I have enough trouble deciding which cup to use or which shoe to put on first. :-[

Slightly detailed description of a pretty big wound one of our cats has. Most of you probably won't be bothered, but if you are really squeamish don't open.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Parents are taking her to the vets, and none of the other cats look like they have been in a fight. But the grandparents next door have a number of cats, and stray cats do pass around here, along with a number of other animals, since we are way out in the woods. Biggest concern is that she might be infected with something. Bringing back a lot of feelings from before from when various cats have gone missing or died.

Just... feelings that I like, but I don't really feel I can... realistically manifest? It's a private thing... in context, it makes so much more sense, but, eeh.

Sometimes I just feel emotions are... distractions...
