Although I'm breathing clearly, I must still have a ton of shit in my sinuses because I keep getting pressure headaches, and whenever I sneeze I get intense pain right behind my nose and eyes. And this cough won't go away either.

He's in palliative care now. That's pretty much it now. He'll be kept in a coma, fed by a tube. And all that's left now is to wait.

Mom and Nan are understandably upset.

I'm currently in a party at a bar, surrounded by drunken idiots and tobacco smoke, to say nothing of the noise loud enough to make me feel ill. I wonder why I hang around these people.

I half-faked feeling sicker than I actually was and left early. Good riddance.

It appears one of my friends broke her foot. She's being stubborn though and won't go tell her parents she broke her foot and my phone is dead. For some reason, I'm not even surprised anymore. She's always been this stubborn; why should I expect any less?

Never understood people's conversations. Terrible things discussed and no happy topics it seems. Basically its a bitching fest. Nothing positive to recharge yourself with....

Very true of older people it seems.

Getting random bursts where reality and life just stop making any sense and I start feeling terrible for things out of my control/no reason at all.

Not very pleasant.

Especially when they reach the point of causing me physical pain.
My sympathies, those are unpleasant at best. Emotional pain is bad enough, but when it gets bad enough that it crosses over into physical too... that's just unfair.

It'd all be much easier if we were consulted before being afflicted with emotions. Then we could say no and avoid all the unnecessary pain that comes with them.

...why am I so isolated

I know I'm not really, it's just my perception of things, but why. This is undoubtedly the type of stuff that makes people drink until they black out.
Not that I'd do that, I'm not stupid.
Oblivion is just tempting sometimes when even sleep doesn't really give you relief.

^ My sincerest sympathies.  Intrusive emotions and expectations in general suck.  None of us are meant to be perfect, or even decent creatures for that matter, so we shouldn't be too hard on ourselves for certain actions and points of view.  Also, that just makes all the times when one does good, morally consistent things even more meaningful.

My thanks. It's just ... beneath me though. Why should I feel the need to sink into anger because some overly-self-entitled old fucker decided to waste his time sitting around complaining until he got free jelly to shut him up? There aren't really any situations where anger is justified, and even if there were that certainly wouldn't qualify.

I have no more fight for stupid little emotion games in my everyday life, from family, friends and even strangers in public. God knows it doesn't stop people from playing them with me though.

Found out yesterday that one of my closest friends has killed herself.

I want my friend back.
