She just can't see anyone around her wasting their time, no, she cares about them too much for that. But she can just go to sleep for two hours in the middle of the day. Of course, she makes up for that time by spending the rest of the afternoon 'busy' on the phone, even though she has no job.

Fairly petty compared to what's been put here, but our refrigerator broke and now we have to rush to get ice and a new unit before everything spoils.

We even have two gallon jugs of milk in there...

asdf I am so bad at socializing. Can't even make conversation to people at church without making an ass of myself, then spend the rest of my day kicking myself for stepping out of my comfort zone and embarrassing myself. Don't know what to say or do, don't know what people like to talk about.

I just cannot people. But if I don't try to improve my people skills and make friends I'll probably be a completely alone hermit for the rest of my life.

The nice part about being a hermit: when you want to do or work on something, you have literally zero outside distractions. Unless you set your house on fire. That's a problem.

Also means you have to do everything by yourself. Build a house? Clear the land, lay the foundation, and build everything yourself. Need a well for water access? Dig it yourself. Farming? All alone by yourself.

All three of those things is a shitload of work to do alone, without any help from friends (or professionals). All three of those things are also pretty essential to anyone wanting to live the self-sufficient innawoods crazy reclusive hermit life.
