So a neighbor is making bullshit complaints to police and the home owner's association that started with one reasonable complaint, which we immediately addressed, but have now expanded to a shitload of unreasonable shit beyond our control, half-truths, and blatant falsehoods.  And it looks like it's working.  We're being asked to get rid of the dog we got a few months ago to help our 7 year old with serious mental health issues, and I fear it won't stop at that because they're complaining about our kids too.  And we can't afford to move.

So fucking tired of petty bullshit.  All day every day.  Surrounded by people who have nothing better to do with their lives than complain about petty bullshit and make things miserable for each other.  And it's almost entirely old people.  I'm to the point where I feel like 90% of the world's problems could be solved by wiping out anyone over the age of 45.  I know that's a horrible thought, but god fucking damnit almost everyone I know beyond that age seems like they exist to project misery on everyone around them.  And they've built up a society that's being suffocated by rules which enable them to do so.

I already spend the majority of my time at work making sure everything I do is documented, so I'm always able to potentially defend myself.  Now I have to do it at home, too.  I don't want to live on this planet anymore :[

Oh screw that. What, do they expect you to get rid of the kids too?

I'm so sorry to hear this. Both sides of my family live in suburban HOA-type neighborhoods, and they get stupid comments about growing edible plants and wildflowers on the property, not trimming the shrubs and trees in ways the neighbors approve of, and other petty crap like that. It really is like high school all over, but with dissatisfied white collar workers and retirees instead of teens. Your neighbor is a whole different tier of shitty, though. If you can, fight it. I don't have experience there, but I'm sure there's people out there who can help. I hope you don't have to move, but if it would improve your quality of life (and it sounds like it would), that might be something to look into long-term. I hope standing up to that horsecrap is an option though, because there's no reason they should get away with it.

Obnoxious assholes who lash out at anyone they can because they're unhappy are my least favorite kinds of people. Shit like that deserves swift justice.

P.S. If you move to Toronto and need a renter for a room, hit me up. I'm moving toward the end of the year, and leaving the country is looking more appealing every day. ><;

Even the Wikipedia article on these things is a fustercluck.

Hope you can put up a fight against them, SG. And then subsequently get out of Indiana.

Feel free to PM me or something.

Seriously.  If I can help you at all, even just being a person to vent at.

Beauty's so subjective.  A lot of people want someone soft and pampered.  Others would prefer a survivor, someone who has tanked hardship and grown from it.  Even if it left scars.  According to many game systems, scars can provide natural armor :P

Fairy tale princesses are a saccharine fantasy, real people make better partners imho.  But what do I know, I don't have enough self-esteem to get too close to anyone.  Particularly not romantically, with my... family history, and personal experiences.

Pretty sure I've ruined my friendship with someone for at least a week. And there's nothing I can do about it that wouldn't just be making things worse long-term. Yeah it'll blow over but it's still pretty shit.

I'm starting to suspect I might have undercooked the sausage in my breakfast. I mean, I'm queasy most mornings, and I'm not any sickerthan usual
 I think. But it did seem oddly grey compared to usual, but if I cooked it anymore they would have melted into the pan...

I don't think that's your problem, since an undercooked sausage will be a pink color, not a grey one. :P (Also human gut time ranges between 26-48 hours on average, so it's actually more likely that whatever you ate that is making you feel bad now is actually something you ate yesterday instead of today).

Well, that's how long it takes for it to come out, if you get me. What you eat can make you sick pretty fast. Staph food poisoning sets up a couple of hours after ingestion, for instance. So I wouldn't rule out that the ugly looking sausage made him ill..

In general I advise to try to eat less crappy things. And yeah, I know it's not that easy, by personal experience. I've found that a robotic cooker helps...

Why specifically 15? Is Bengali not base10?
