It feels like my country is not slowly submerging in deep ass, but it is charging  to said ass on white horse, while  swinging rusted sword, wearing old armour and yelling about own awesomeness.

It's really hot today and tomorrow is supposed to be hotter. Damn global warming. Screw you, US/China, stop being greedy arseholes and think about those of us who can't use air con because electricity costs too much.

Secret society of immortals. Give it to people who deserve it, become the New World Order, don't give to anyone you love, have tremendous regrets, kill yourself.
Seriously though, a scenario with non-universal immortality would probably work better if you established that kind of thing than going alone.

If we're talking just the ol' immortal-but-killable kind of immortality, you have to do some life maintenance every couple of years to stop everyone else from figuring it out and you having a bad time due to that, which would mean fake identities, changing accomodations, maybe some plastic surgery, all that fun, dubiously legal stuff.

The more actual immortals would be in on the network you'd need, the smaller risk that the people handling the whole deal would figure that out themselves, and the less contacts to manage per single immortal. Of course, then you have people who *know* what your deal is if they'd want to make sure you're getting very, very mortal.

We are doomed. It's just that whatever is going to kill us all just happens to be, from a scientific standpoint, pretty frickin' awesome.

My ex appears to enjoy breaking other people's hearts. Or atleast attempting to. Hasn't worked yet.

There is a lot of content. Games aren't cheap to make these days. I'm cool with a $25 price tag.

I love the concept but I'm not about to burn 25 usd into it. I'm waiting for some later discount.

Unless I'm seized by consumism. But yeah, I'm waiting for a bettah price

I just found out that I was Excluded from my university seven months ago. It's a bit confusing given that I transferred into a new Bachelor and attended classes all through the latter half of last year and no one batted an eye. It's also hit me really hard because I made that transfer after having a complete nervous breakdown over the direction my life was heading. Losing control like this is bringing those feelings back and I have no way of contacting my course coordinator until Monday.

Thank you. Everything should be fine as someone has contacted me and informed me that they're trying to fix things.

My laptop disconnects from the internet a short while after its lid is closed, and I don't know how to fix this. :(

? ? ?

All the laptops I have experience with go to sleep if you close the lid while it's on. I don't think it would be connected to the internet while asleep. Or off.

Try not closing the lid?

Power plan settings, dude. :)
There's an option that details what the laptop does when closing the lid [It's usually set to shut down or sleep or anything other than 'Do Nothing/Idle']
