I could proably go to someone who actually gets paid to do shit like this but that would be like admitting a loss... also, yeah, again I don't really see the point.
No. Do not attribute loss or anything you'd avoid because that's letting implications chart your path in life. In my opinion--there's particularly a point in going to someone who is 'paid to help' (or at least someone you can trust who can give wise counsel to the situation). Given that the people you mentioned have...screamed at you, that is a big indicator [out of context] that they aren't fully able to handle a situation like this. <_>

I will try to upload some stuff regarding professional services and send it via PM to you ._.; But pleaaaase do not ruminate over all of this. Talk to people over here in the meantime maybe (or people there who are neutral and people you're ok with).
Nay. Mostly because I don't really fell that I could be told something new. As for the screaming, it was more like hate mail... and no, they proably are completly capable of handling it but the "screaming" was because they basically had to choose a side and as I said, it was way easier to go with the happy one. Or something. I don't know. Fuck this whole thing.

Not necessarily sad, wtf, and certainly not happy. But definitely worried.

Things have gotten complicated between me and a friend, and I offered to talk via email. I'm fairly certain that my friend isn't necessarily going to expect it and that worries me a bit. Compounding that, I have an overarching tendency to overthink everything and am therefore now kind of freaking out a bit about how she may respond.

I really wish my emotions had a switch sometimes. But I'm also glad it doesn't. I consider myself odd in a lot of ways, but I'm also one of those strange persons who takes vague satisfaction in getting angry or sad, because it's not something I experience often. I feel like getting angry or sad is sort of a reminder that I've still got things that are important enough that I can still get angry or sad over them.

But being worried or agitated with anxiety is a whole nother beast. While I can appreciate those emotions, they're very, very hard emotions to work around. They demand your attention and sort of just don't shut up.

That said...

I'm not sure what exactly went down. But I'm here for you regardless.

I'm no lawyer, but you might want to redact this post. If your account can be connected to your real-life persona, a certain part of the post could be taken as a confession. Not that a prosecutor would scour the Net for such convoluted evidence for a traffic violation, but...
You're absolutely right, and this account *can* be easily connected to me, but I'm not contesting the fine anyway.

The personality thing...  I'm there too.  Trying to build a "person" out of this aborted mess.  It's slow going, but it's also a great opportunity I guess.  Most people are fully entrenched in a certain way of being, we get to design our own character.  Well, to some extent.  There are behaviors I wish I could unlearn.

What is my purpose?
Literally to do whatever you want.  Purpose is just a construct each person makes for themselves, even if that purpose is "serving someone else".
I'd suggest choosing a purpose, and working at it hard...  You'll probably pick up experience and contacts along the way, which will help when/if you change your purpose later.

Not that it's at all easy to get motivated, unfortunately.  It's just rewarding.

If it's your job to hear me rant and try to help I honestly don't give a fuck about ranting at you and your help. I would just consider them being fake as fuck... maybe if I knew one of these people in person and he actually genuinely cared, but even then getting help would be like admitting that I'm weak and I lost control, which I may have, but even then, no, I'd rather die.

happened again

here i thought i would be safe on a busy road during heavy traffic

fortunately, i decided to take the apparently silly measure of going out of my way to print a new insurance card before leaving, instead of just doing it the next time i was on campus, and they did not issue a new fine since i had registered the car yesterday, and simply haven't got the sticker in the mail yet

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

What is my purpose?
You pass butter.

(Sorry, couldn't pass that up. Erm. The Big Questions are good for spending time in idle speculation, but if you're having some sort of existential crisis then it might be a good idea to focus on the smaller things. Daily or weekly goals, etc. Depending on your outlook, purpose could either be constructed or simply found when you're not looking for it. Or go watch some Rick and Morty! ...That's all I got.)

Oh, right, sorry. I meant to reply to this but didn't.

you probably don't have one, except i guess to generate a net increase in entropy

sorry

none of us do

the best thing i can say, really, is to take the world for the good that's in it, and search less for the good you want to be in it

that's not to say you should give up and never try to change anything, more that the first step is to accept the world for what it is

The sad thread is not a contest to see who has the most sad of sads.
Says you.

As for MY sad, the hits just keep on coming. Got the front end of Van#2 all fixed up for roughly ALL THE MONEY and when putting it in the driveway it makes a new noise implying its totally fucked up in a wholly DIFFERENT way now.
