Can't recommend physical contact at the moment (i am probably contagious enough to infect people who glance in my general direction), but e-hugs are totally fine and very welcome. This would be the end of the third day of near-constant coughing, with the longest break lasting maybe 5-10 minutes, if i am to be generous. Also, my bowels have decided to kind of join in on the fun, because they're a bit uncomfortable, and my esophagus has been like a nice foamy saliva-filled sausage for much of the day. The latter is not new for me (experience does have its merits, i s'pose), but it's not exactly making it easier to keep my spirits high when paired with everything else. That, and
it gets in the way of my fucking burps i mean fuck. Imagine this: You have to belch. Now imagine this: When you try to belch, the gas bubble picks up a hitch hiking glob of more or less acidic saliva, and you can't just blast it all out because of biological reflexes. Therefore, you may end up having to go around with a belch in your belly for up to four hours, and if you're unlucky, it'll taste like vomit when it finally gets up. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired (WORD PLAY, HUZZAH), but eh, being salty about it isn't going to make the virus go away faster. ¯\(°_o)/¯
also my nose has bled five times today with one of them being completely unprovoked
i need to have a serious talk with my blood one of these days because my red blood cells aren't birds that are supposed to jump out of their nest
At least i have ENORMOUS experience with nose bleeding, so i'm actually the one who has to calm down the people around me, since THEY tend to get worried and/or freak out when i start bleeding out of nowhere. By now, my reaction has dulled down to an exhasperated sigh with a quick scramble for the nearest tissue paper, mostly because bloodstains can get horribly ingrained in certain materials. Cloth is rarely a problem, but
these stains are NOT going anywhere. I guess the obvious solution is to bleed all over the ENTIRE FLOOR so it has the same colour. :v
