I'unno man. Given that misogynistic dickheads apparently still end up in relationships, it's weird.

Heiterverzweiflung. Not a legit German word so much as something a friend and I made up in German class once. "Carefree despair". When life is so fucked that you can't stop laughing.

Confidence, however ill-placed, and statistics (if you ask out every girl you see eventually one of them will say yes) lay claim to that particular bit of oddity.

See if you'd grown up on some appropriate children's reading this wouldn't disappoint you. I recommend 'The Nightingale and the Rose' by Oscar Wilde.

It's okay, at least we can clumsily shoehorn our burning RAAAAAGE into other threads described as WTF ("WTF is wrong with this jackass?!"), Sads ("I'm sad that this humanoid excrement smear exists to upset me all the time,") or Terrifieds ("I'm terrified that one of these days I'm gonna snap.").

See! It works!
This doesn't mean I don't still feel the Rage Thread-shaped hole in my heart, though.

Everyone's different, man. Some can cope with stress in a particular aspect of their existence, or from a certain thing, but not others. Acknowledging you have a weakness and need help is a strong thing to do, since few people are really willing to admit they can't cope alone.

If you need help dealing with something you take it man. Just because you thinkmsomeone else has it worse, doesn't mean you should refuse help.

If you feel you need to pay it back or something, volunteer your time to do something to help someone else, like a charity shop or something. At least then you're helping out other folks too.

I would say if you have advantages, use em'. Just find a good cause to work for.  Children in africa don't have clean water. Doesn't mean I'm going to drink mud, though I might invent a cheaper water-purification plant.
