I'm hoping she meant "so you start praying your ass off for a miracle and find religion" not "return to God" in the sense of dying. It's slightly less horrible than the alternative.

Either way, it's emotional blackmail. Or it might be actual belief in what was said, but I'd like to think Blackmail is more likely.

Thank you, mum, now I understand desire of communists to shoot priests and blow up churches.

You're just getting that now?

They shouldn't, because if nothing else churches tend to have some very nice architecture.

Churches are very good.
Allegedly religious people are not.

That's a good point

well everything went as badly as i expected and since my question got hijacked i'll keep it to that, and just say that i can probably maybe talk to people one on one (even though it always goes badly and incredibly awkwardly because i am not an interesting person or social at all) but that it's basically fucking impossible to talk to a group of people who know eachother. i just cant participate in the fucking conversation and it frustrates me SO FUCKIGN MUCH

It really is, which sucks.

I am still not fine. I'm trying my darnest to get on with life and, to be honest, it's... somehow going on. Basically trying to outshout myself, do a lot of stuff but... it doesn't exactly work. At best I can forget about the... situation, but never about her. I still see them all the damn time and people stopped trying to do stuff about it, they just... I don't know, I preffer to think that they just accept that sometimes I'm just going to suddenly stop talking and stare into a wall (well, usually I at least have an reason to do so) and they sometimes try to don't let me see them and basically help, though some of them... gave up on me? Whatever...

Really, I don't know what to do, I already did almost everything... I don't think I'm angry anymore, just... sad. At least I won't see her for at least two weeks, she's spending next two weeks with him (and the knowledge of this is bad enough already), away. Life sucks.

My great-uncle died yesterday night. We knew that he didn't have long but his doctors had estimated that he had the better part of a month left; he didn't.

Today has been one of those days where all the wheels have just fucking fell off at once.

  • Got a legal notice which indicates the lawsuit from fucking 3 years ago is still not dead.
  • Got a notice that somebody in accounting noticed I have two laptops (been using the backup one as a personal PC for a couple of years now since I haven't had a real working PC in 3 years) and I have to return one ASAP.
  • Got quoted out of context by a vendor sales rep, which has put me squarely in the midst of a fight between our client and their vendor.
  • Got a text message from my half-brother that he had to take a pay cut, which I'm guessing is just a gateway to him telling me he can't pay rent again, after I just forgave him a year's worth of unpaid rent at Christmas.
  • Car need 4 new tires or it won't pass inspection. (At least the wheels didn't literally fall off in that instance.)

.....y'all may not see much of me for a while.

I just spent over 3 hours with my pathetic excuse of a human being that I call a Grandfather. He's an alcoholic and has a bad fucking temper. It was his 'brilliant' idea to unscrew the fucking dryer door so we can put it on the other side. And it took fucking ages. We had it right at one point but he had to be a little fucking brat of a 67-year-old man and bitch until I took the fucking door off and tried again.

We still haven't gotten it and I've cried twice. He's a cunt and I want to fucking scream and wish there were more curse words. RRRRRRRRRGHHHH.

I feel you man, basically my day. I don't want to care anymore but I do, and trying to think positive thoughts is sort of painful...

Really darn not-funny when you realize that literally almost all of the positive thoughts you have connect somehow with that one person due to sheer amount of interaction and talk and whatnot you had before. Proably weird but I don't give a fuck.
