Should be one of the options in Power.
I've changed power settings, display settings, driver settings, but that SPAWN OF HELL keeps coming back to torment me

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

My brain tells me to play video games for a while and have fun.

Several hours of video games later, my brain hates myself for wasting all this time and feels guilty instead. Brilliant.

If you can still find your pants, its not a gypsy curse.

Also, tiruin good speaker of good words. Might be difficult to understand sometimes, but its still possible that your friend just tends to interpret things in the worst light.

Never actually thought about it like that. I guess my brain would be grey and slimy. Or at least slimy. Huh.

Apparently the human brain is about as soft as butter. Nice thought, right?

Heiterverzweiflung. Not a legit German word so much as something a friend and I made up in German class once. "Carefree despair". When life is so fucked that you can't stop laughing.

Yeah... Have you ever tried to cut butter? It is nearly impossible.

Not really? It's pretty easy to cut, actually, at least when not frozen solid. And the brain can't merge back together.

Screaming is a perfectly valid method of de-stressing.

Wouldn't recommend for anything short of extremely stressful real life troubles, however. Games aren't really worth screaming.
There's always metal music, too.

Are we talking fresh-from-the-fridge butter, room temperature butter, or anything in between? When I was cutting brains on a cryotome my impression was more along the lines of the first option, essentially thin flakes that maintain their consistency like you get when scraping cold butter with a knife, but then again, it WAS kept cold.

I've spent the last couple of days feeling kinda sick, sleeping all day and trying to stay warm. In summer.
Sure hope I'm feeling better tomorrow/later today... I guess I'll try and get a decent night's sleep, see if that helps.

Considering that butter is essentially fat with some other stuff in it, I wouldn't be surprised if brain tissue at any temperature feels like butter at that temperature.

Yeah, that's another thing I was wondering about, it might be the case. Nerve tissue uses a lot of fatty acids for essentially insulation, so it wouldn't be surprising if it was quite similar thermally - but I didn't really have an opportunity to deal with warm brains.
