I should talk to a doctor period, heh, but that's not really on the table at the moment. Don't have enough income to get help getting health insurance (Fuck you, florida, and your ACA contrarian shitheels~), don't have the income to get health insurance, don't have the money to afford doctor trips. Might be improving in the near-ish future, but for the time being I mostly just try to avoid making things worse. S'just... sometimes not really an option, which means pain, ha.

Will keep it in mind, though. Relatively sure it'd be less of an issue if the shoes I'm wearing weren't about five years old (maybe more) with soles to match. They're a bit... worn. Still. Something to ask about.

Is a doctor period less painful than a normal period?

When my feet and legs hurt it's because my shoes have worn out beyond repair and it's time to get new ones.  Go buy some cheap shoes, you'll feel better the next day.

Also don't bother with any doctors other than Dr. Pepper.

Hard to do that second one when Dr. Pepper doesn't exist :V

Well, for certain definitions of fixable anyway.

I have a bit of that as well. It only affects me during my first hour in the morning, then gets better. So I didn't really pay it much heed.

Missed making my 10,000th post, and my 10101st post milestones.  Darn.

Next up is 11111, then 12345. Also, you have 54 ppd. That's quite the number.

You people are a great deal more active than I. :P

On a rather more inane note, it was suggested that there might be northern lights over my home tonight. There were none.

Sweden? I had none either. And I was even in the one corner of the land that wasn't covered in a cloudwool blanket.

Northern US, I'm afraid.

...I think the word you want is divorce.

Seriously, that guy is toxic.  Outright toxic.

Also, take a self-defense or martial arts thing if you aren't already.

And...Good luck, okay?  I hope things get better.

That really sucks. Abusive situations, which I'd call that, are the worst thing. Well, at least going by my own experiences, college is definitely something to look forward to.

...I'm really glad I have good parents.

Well now I'm sad because Shadow's situation is literally painfully familiar.  From like, 8 years ago.  I'm almost 30 and not over that shit, and alcohol only treats the symptoms.

My advice, get some actual help instead of just bearing it.  I don't know how, maybe friends?  Just, good luck.

Get in contact with the police. I don't know where you live, but much of that stuff is downright criminal in most places. Aggravated assault, battery, domestic abuse, theft, libel, slander, reckless endangerment... List goes on. Since 'everyone knows', you have enough people vouching for you if it comes to your word against his.

Yep. If you're not comfortable with the police, even teachers are legally required to deal with this shit.
