I was referring to Guy Fawkes. I'm still awake at quarter past eleven because the fireworks only stopped now.

I'm happy the pup's been spayed, that's a good thing in the long run, of course.

Edit: being awake this late is why I'm being grouchy and hyperbolic.

There's dim hope of stopping Twitch Plays Pokemon now.

Seeing other people post about romantic stuff being successful is a double sad. It makes me feel sad because of me failing at this and it makes me feel like a douchebag for feeling sad about it.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

On the verge of quitting my job.  This is no way to live.  I had my mind set on leaving 6 months ago, but my direct supervisor that I really like made a very convincing argument that the work environment was on track to get better.  Six months later it's the worst that it's ever been.  Problem is replacing job with another that will support family.

Heh, you only get that with people posting about that sort of stuff? I get that in real life. A lot. The envy is wearing me out. I even take a twisted sort of pleasure in other people having romantic trouble - and I feel horrible for it.

No, socially sanctioned cruelty to animals day.
I was referring to Guy Fawkes.

I have a feeling I'm going to burn out soon.
It happened.
Starting to feel a bit better after a couple days' sick leave. I actually managed to hold a conversation without breaking down. Still feeling quite sad and reclusive, though.

Damn, I was hoping that didn't actually get posted since my internet immediately crapped out right after hitting the button.

It was supposed to be 'fap' :PP

In actual sads, winter is upon us here in Idaho. And it looks like we won't be getting internet from home after all; for whatever reason, the guys that showed up said they can't install their equipment and just turned around and left.

My regret for removing my bandage is two-fold:

1. Pain. Medical tape is a bitch when you're hairy.

2. No properly sized bandages at home.

I was told to air it out, but it hurts like Hell. It was not much more than a nasty scrape, but then again, even papercuts can sting rather badly, can't they? This hasn't even started scabbing over yet. Hasn't actually bled much, considering it looks like a decent chunk of skin was sheared off.
