That's generally a good idea. I have the same problem, I guess, and it gives me a lot of trouble.

the absolute worst pile of excrement ever to grace the tube?

Ugh, there's an album I remember listening to as a little kid, but googling what I thought its name was gives no hits.
I'm pretty sure it was called "Return of the Red Eye" or something along those lines, and it was some really weird techno that I vaguely remember creeping me out when I listened to it. As in, there was a point on the tape where I'd get too creeped out and stop listening, haha.

I really want to find it, but I'm not sure how to.
I guess I could ask my sister (who the tape belonged to), but that would be awful. I'm not that desperate to find it... yet.

How old is your sister? Unless she's a teenager, I don't see why there'd be a problem in asking her to help you feel nostalgic.

I thought that was just existentialism. I had assumed I was an existentialist.
Maybe I'm just tired of modern life. Some people make their own conflict. Some need conflict thrust upon them.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

[Insert many complaints here]

Is there any kind of decent play by post or something forum game that doesn't require a ton of homework to understand? Something that can get about a paragraph of player input a day/round that works well, makes sense, and is fun?
Roll to dodge is what you want. We have an entire subforum of the stuff.

Every weekend my mom and I go to her ex-boyfriends for some reason.

Every weekend he screams at us. Mostly her.

Why do we go? She knows I don't like it here. She claims it is because she is bored at home. She does his laundry, buys him groceries, cleans his house, and takes care of his dogs.

I assume he's her ex-boyfriend because she's now his wife - else that seems weird even for her standards.

Not his wife.
Are you sure he's her ex-boyfriend then? Because it doesn't sound like that to me.

We specifically moved to get away from him, and my mom said she is done with relationships.

She doesn't consider him her boyfriend.

Is she the sort of person you could ask "Why you do this" and get a solid answer? Cuz that is some confusing shit.

Hm, have you considered murder?  It's either that or letting it go.

She needs to get into classes or a hobby or something. Maybe she's looking for a routine now that things have changed and doesn't know where else to turn?

She has no hobbies. She even topped watching TV because it was easier to do that than figure out the new cable provider's channel layout.

All she really does to pass time is clean. And look at garbage people post on Facebook with a computer that is even slower than my old '98.
