It wasn't good then, it isn't good now.
It wasn't good? Then why did nobody else object?

People are objecting to Yoink's behaviour now. There was a bad precedent, but that doesn't mean we can't move forward and do better in the present/future.

I'm sad that y'all can't handle the truth. And now I'm gonna drop this before I wind up getting banned as well.

Back to sads(?): I have a low B in a class because I didn't turn in an assignment and now my parents refuse to talk to me (other than the accented yelling I've come to internally chuckle at). They do that often enough, but the strange part is that that's the only time the home is peaceful.

Yoink, mate, you've to work on your wording at times. :P
When you remember people--recall that at times, you merely see one facet of them: their attitude. It isn't that 'we' can't 'handle the truth'--it's that the 'truth' being announced is a very incomplete picture of who they really are, merely maybe how they seem, in certain occasions. GC is a ton better than that.
And so are you. (And your wording)

So miss someone or not, put in mind that whoever they are, are generally better than what negative sentiment they are perceived to be.
You're actually saying "I'm not gonna miss {what they've done to me which was not that nice}". Who they are, aren't only that. :P
That goes for anyone else when they're referring to anyone in particular, especially in a negative fashion. There's a subtle difference between a person, and their attitude/behavior. But its a very important difference.

Well, yeah, Yoink didn't describe Gunner-chan's complete personality while saying good riddance.  ::)

You guys can be really petty whenever someone steps out of line.  Gunner-chan is better off gone, and so are we.  Good riddance, literally.

No no, keep going. Trust me. It's a GREAT idea.
You're mad.

Consider it a reaction to the people going too far on Yoink.
I mean it, though, I think she is better off.

Do I want to be involved in this drama? I'm going to assume that's a no, but does it affect the forum to a point that it would become a personal issue for me?

I'm not trying to be edgy, I just don't want to get involved in things that I shouldn't.

This isn't edgy so much as petty bullcrap.
