I hate him for making me acutely aware of my shortcomings as a human being.

Are you ever self aware? Like, really?

I know this isn't even something I should be posting but jesus man. Slap yourself in the god damn face and get a grip or something.
Teenagers aren't the most self-aware people, G-Chan. There's that whole "teenager finding themselves" phase.

Agreed that Cinder should chillax and get a grip and let it go though. Holding onto hateful feelings doesn't do any good.

Self pity, in small amounts, can be healthy. Hating people because they're boosting your self-pity and justifying your victim complex is downright absurd.

But, alas, I am yet another angsty teenager with no gf. Woe is me, and I'm probably a hypocrite for typing this.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Sreekandamangalam is one of the few South Indian villages I can remember, and it's name isn't even that long. Perhaps Japa can help me here for the Northern end.

When you put a belt on an 'l', it hisses in pain.

Yes. Pyramids are unhealthy for browsers and therefore we must spear 'em all.

To be fair, it's not really a problem until you start getting 20-30 of them nested in each other
