I have some seriously unhealthy mental issues, but I'm too afraid to talk to anybody about them.

I'm heavily tempted to address all the posts but I don't want to appear like I manipulated people into giving me attention. I really wasn't.

Also part of the reason I came back is also because due to some miscommunication with Tiruin I want to point out I meant I'm a they but I go by whatever pronouns. Please don't all refer to me as a they that would be kind of weird.

Well from all my experience with the people in that field (ie My mentors and others), maybe assurance would help with your comfortability? They've seen a lot and know how to approach these things understandably. And when I mean by a lot, I mean...generally not like the stigma the field has due to some depictions by the media. (Related: Last sentence pokes me sad, because that exists.) -.-

...So there pretty much are people who can handle that very well. Face the discomfort first (and why its there).

I'm feeling sadder than normal and I can't pinpoint quite why.
I'm also wondering just why the hell sad came to be "normal" in the first place.

Those kinds of feelings are the worst.

They tend to devolve into the "meaning of life" internal debates for me, making me wonder why I still keep on living, then "rationalizing" that I should just end myself because life has no inherent meaning.

And then I can't figure out why I'm sad in the first place. :/
