Aaaaand that's why Catholicism > Protestantism,  folks. I'm kidding. Mostly, at least.

Eh, while its highly debatable, I kinda agree, despite not even being actualy catholic :v But I should prob not discuss it further since its very slippery slope. The reasons aren't actualy related to religious dogma (at least not by itself).

I think disorganiced religion is much worse. If you think about it, the more decentralized a religion is, the more likely is that some local branch will start a holy war independently of the rest.

I'm sure the Birmingham Protestant Church sect with it's 25 members are just raring to launch another crusade.

Lemme put it this way: The Catholic equivalent of the US evangelicals is under much better control, i.e. it does much less damage.

I need to stop staying up so late at night. I'm all tired during the day and don't feel like being productive.

I'm certainly not productive at night. Just playing video games and watching anime and shit. Ugh. Get your shit together, me.

Counterpoint: The US Catholics are inundated in Americanist heresies and may well be the least doctrine loyal Catholics on Earth, they're also less prone to taking the offense against other groups (but still do plenty) because of the years of suppression by Protestants. In more traditionally Catholic countries the capital-C Church is a political problem because of their organization and influence over the state through its population's religious beliefs. Also, Protestant churches are still organized religions, they're just not as overarchingly hierarchical as the RCC.

And yet, abortion laws based off the strong Catholic presence in Ireland has caused deaths.

The Troubles in Northern Ireland between protestants and catholics were not any more gentle for the Pope's influence.

The Troubles had more to do with the English being twats than Protestant vs. Catholic.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Oh, I beg to differ. The main reason the English and Irish were twats was because they were Protestant and Catholic.

By that criteria, most organized religion is a "problem", whatever that means. Not saying those opinions aren't toxic, just that you shouldn't throw the baby out with the rancid bathwater.
There's definitely some problems specific to Islam though. The other Abrahamic religions share largely similar texts but you don't see so many Jewish or Christian religiously-motivated terror attacks going on. Then you end up with people leaving to go to Turkey and live in poor conditions in order to fulfill some ideological sense of duty. Nobody wins there, really.
