If you think it's negatively effected your grade, you can get a dispensation for leniency in many places and possibly get a free retake.

I'm worried I've been forgotten. Mum was supposed to meet me here at the lab hours ago and deliver documents for the school and some gas money so I can make it home tonight, but I've had no sign of her. Won't answer her phone, nobody will.
