THE PAIN
You'll be less sore tomorrow.

No he won't. Day after is always worse, especially if you're not used to the exertion of a particular muscle group.
Maybe by Monday, though. :P

Well I seem to forget my emotional (pain?) when I keep myself busy, but when I'm alone with nothing to do it just comes back again.
It's past midnight and I can't sleep, my gut feels like it's got pressure on it that shouldn't be there. Stress maybe? I just wish I could forget her or at least not care enough to feel about her, god knows she's forgotten me..

E: So that was an emotional breakdown I guess.
I need to stop going through my memories of her when I'm bored and alone, it does nothing but bring back all that pain

Of course the day after straining oneself is painful, but it can be made slightly easier by stretching on the day before. That's the point I was trying to make.

Slept 'til like 5 in the evening.
That wouldn't be so bad except I'd had plans for the late afternoon. :-/

Huh, so I was just talking past you - great! Now we just need to get our nomenclature straight, and then we can tell all the SJWs that we solved gender theory :P

Wasn't there some sort of 'gender thread' that could contain this derail?

All the gender threads get locked. It is inevitable.

Then perhaps we shouldn't be discussing the subject in here...?

Stuff
I think it sounds contradictory because it is. If you let these things constantly get to you then you end up feeling crap all the time. It's a bad state to actually deal with the problems. But just ignoring the crap also has problems too. So it's a tricky balancing act of learning when to let things slide & when to get worked up about them.

Don't know, maybe that's not much help to you.

@Tru: Probably ask the therapist to explain more--after giving how it comes around to you? :O
Noting specificity and directness down, I found its a great manner of saying "This is how it affects me", then explaining the process using the ideas s/he gave in relating it. (Or asking what they really meant and how it specifically applies in the situation).

Sad: Of all things I thought normal--found out that, in very blunt terms, my brain is wired differently in a way.
And then I discover why I have social problems in my immediate family due to a deep talk. (All of whom are noble people by the way). Hooray me. No...wonder.
Hello depression. Repeat to me the illusion that those important to me will only remember a cutout of who I am.

If it cheers you up, I sent out your postcard on Wednesday, so it should arrive in the next couple weeks~

I haven't slept all night, talked with a friend, random stuff mostly, it kinda helped I guess. But the price was that I got little sleep this morning once I got back to the dorm and now I'm a half zombie for all intents and purposes. It's too hot for me to fall asleep now and I'm constantly being plagued by shit thoughts and ideas that I can't keep fighting off forever.

I think I should've just taken her advice four months ago and remained friends. I would've missed a lot of things but I also wouldn't be going trough what feels like one of the shittiest periods of my life so far.

But most of all I'd like some clarity or closure right now. Everything is so up in the air that the uncertainty is driving me crazy because I keep flipping between being optimistic that it'll work out somehow, and despairing because I might lose one of the best things that happened to me (which is still true, despite all the shit that has happened so far).

Fucking life, god damn it why does it have to be so fucking complicated.

Oh you. :P
I mean IRL.
A main culprit is body language...and most unspoken rules of communication. Thanks interpretations and the pervasive belief of 'body language is subtle truth' (or so echoes a cynical thought in mind). It's generally reasonable, but not exact.
* Tiruin flops.
Also *hugs* @Jopax and the rest. Optimism is in part, based on reason--there may be alternatives optimism gives insight to which counters probability. But still *hugs* :-\
