I can't get the smell of my infected cut out of my head.

It's almost gag-worthy, and every so often my brain goes 'REMEMBER THAT DISGUSTING MOIST SMELL!? HERE IT IS!'
Have you not gotten treatment yet?
Been to the doctor's. Swabbed, sent off, being monitored. Annoyingly, it decided since I was going there it would look 100% healthy. No discharge that was obvious, the right colour...
Take pictures next time, bro. It's what I do. :v

I got five hours of sleep last night, and a similar amount each night for the whole week before, and I get to spend two to four hours in a bus tomorrow, in order to play a single game of hockey. I love the game, but not that much.

Cute person I was texting/talking to stopped responding, and I'm not sure why. Could be anything from I creeped them out/annoyed them, to their phone broke, to they've been too busy. Bluh.

In other words their phone broke or they've been too busy.
Don't get discouraged!  Unless they tell you to STFU, then maybe get discouraged.

Reasonable, aye. It's still a little disheartening to have them say "[I'll talk to you after work!]" and then not hear from them for three days. :c

Welp.

I just ran into my first bad GM of an online game.  I won't name the location or the person (and no it wasn't this forum), and anyone who happens to know can keep their mouth shut about the particulars, but it happened.  In a freeform RP game too.  Apparently they have a few people as "designated GM's" in this game who you have to run everything by, only one of them is actually active in the game (and only barely at that), and they basically maintain an iron grip over the game and prevent it from going anywhere they don't want it to.  The only reason I was able to get a long-term subplot approved was because a) EVERYONE ELSE approved of it and b) one of the other GM's happened to see it and approved of it.  And now their yelling at me for taking tactical command of a group operation when they weren't there, even though everything I said was a suggestion and the others willingly went along with it, and I actively sought input from them.

Urk FML.  I hate people who abuse their power.

Dunno if it's been mentioned already, but if so, have another. BB King died yesterday, noticed today. Passed at 89. RIP, bluesman.

If you got some alcohol or Listerine and a degree of pain resistance, you could try to disinfect it.
My pain threshold has never been good.
Take pictures next time, bro. It's what I do. :v
It's right at the top of the gluteal cleft (see: the crease between your buttcheeks), so getting at it with one hand would be pretty hard.
How/why were you smelling your butt?

Had to spend $100 I didn't have today, thanks to the courts. Because my ex-wife claimed that we have "communication issues" (which largely consist of her yelling at me and me walking away from her instead of blowing up,) we've been shunted into co-parenting therapy. More money down the drain because she's an egocentric diva.

Don't stick it in crazy, boys. Just don't do it.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

"don't stick it in crazy" is one of reddit's favourite maxims.

There's a subreddit where some whackos promote misogyny as a philosophy.
Hence, Reddit is jokingly associated with woman-hating.  It's not really fair, since Reddit provides equal space to the crazies on the other side, and neither group of crazies represent the more reasonable people, but eh.  It's the internet.
