No news from my clinical rotation yet :(

It'd be a big blunder if it ended up busting.

That is a deeply unpleasant way to feel... uh... feelings? That sentence I just said might set a new redundancy record. Sorry things are being that painful :(

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

You have certainly built up a lot of experience with struggling by this point. Good luck - by which I mean, I hope you overcome it soon. The long-term result is not in doubt, yeah.

If you need anyone to talk to, I'd be happy to listen. Or for that matter, most of bay12 would likely be happy to listen. :P

Apparently, there's some girl who lives relatively close to us who my brother is always hanging out with and chatting with on the bus. Apparently she and her mother brought their dog down our road at some point in the past, and were told not to do it ever again because it almost caused big trouble. Apparently they did it again anyway earlier today, and they allowed it to march into our yard and maul one of our chickens to death while they stood around like a couple of fucking idiots and did nothing. Apparently the dumb bitch never thought to put her bitch on a leash so that she wouldn't be able to waltz onto private property and eat other people's small domesticated animals. Apparently my mother called animal control, and their dog is probably going to be put down.

I fucking hate everyone.

I now feel even worse than I did the last time I posted, which is completely fucking glorious.

Also, I've been having even more gruesome nightmares the past few nights, which is even more glorious.

Poor dog. :(
Just because the owner is a dumbass doesn't mean the dog has to die...

Yeah, seriously. The person calling animal control seems to be the 'bad guy' in this scenario from where I'm sitting.

I don't know what I'm goddamn doing. I have the most accepting, loving friends and I can't say a few stupid words. Fuck, I could do it in one. A well-timed "she" and everyone would know exactly what I meant (hey, one more solution I'll never use). They kind of know already, I bet they're just waiting for me to say the word, they'd be nothing but respectful. I keep telling myself I'll bring it up when the time seems right, then I dodge away whenever the conversation could get to that point. I've been thinking about this for months and I haven't gotten anywhere. I feel worthless.
I either completely understand what you're talking about or I'm making horrible assumptions. Fell comfortable PMing?

"Penguin, how do you spell she? in 3-2-1, GO!"

"D:"

(but yeah I can imagine that sucks)

You don't have to feel bad because you're afraid to tell people your secrets. That's a very common problem, so you're in good company. To put it in other words, you're not worthless and I wish you well. Good luck with your friends. ;)

Ug.  I was playing Consortium and it ended in the middle of the story.  If the story isn't finished yet, you should really put a "Episode 1" in the title.   :-[
