So down to two friends...

One of them used and abused me and put me in a very precarious situation along with threatening to hurt me... So I broke it off with him.

While the other abandoned me for more fun and interesting people and probably won't even message me unless he needs something.

---

So at this point I am officially friendless...

I always kind of known it would happen, I hung onto the very few friends I had and have such trouble making new ones.

For what it's worth, you're one of my favorite people in these forums.

Heck, maybe for starters I could walk to my old suburb and get those $1 wraps I've been missing so much. It's only a ten minute bus ride from here.
6 minutes of moving * 25 mph = 2.5 miles
Average walking speed = 3.1 mph
2-way time = 2.5 / 3.1 * 2 = 96 minutes.

Little time by car/bus = much larger by walking. Just something to keep in mind. :P

Well, that's a good thing in this particular scenario! :P
'Sides, I walk fairly quickly. Now I want to measure my usual walking speed.

It helps me to have an excuse to go out.  For instance, I'm going about a mile to the gas station for a 12-pack (fits nicely in my courier bag, I've found).  Light beer, obviously :P
I find that once I get out and walking, it's not that hard to keep going for fun.  Then when I get back I can do whatever I want without feeling bad!  Like, hypothetically, all the beer I could want :D

When I was walking a lot last year, it was mostly to this hill near the university which is good for watching sunsets.  But thanks to stupid daylight savings time, that's not for another 2.5 hours, and I need to get out now or I probably won't at all.

Yeah this was my thinking too, it's dangerous though ):

I'm probably far from the best person to talk to on the forums, but if you'd like, we could talk on Steam/via PM. Somebody else would probably be better suited to do it (I give frankly terrible advice, and I'm not exactly a good conversation partner anyways), but I'm willing if you can't find anyone else available.

Was supposed to go to a party today, but the social anxiety is acting up today so I'm going to ditch.   :( I'm not good at being a person.

Not Friends (TM). Making friends isn't actually that hard - just talk to people, find out what you have in common. If you try and get told to get lost, you either picked a way wrong moment or the person is a douche not worth the time anyway.

Pro tip: people like people that are similar to themselves. People are also very good, albeit often unconsciously so, at figuring out if someone is lying - and even if that fails, bullshit has ways of eventually starting to smell noticably. Just establish the former without resorting to the latter and that should about work.
