Lie in bed and focus on breathing? It might help just to lie back and meditate even if you can't sleep.

Spending too much time in bed trying to sleep will only exacerbate the problem though, so if you aren't making any progress then you should probably get back up...

Do you have any slow paced real-time strategies? I've fallen asleep while playing Planetary Annihilation before. Something that gives you a lot to watch, but isn't thought provoking.

Phisics. Math. Arts history. Tolstoy "War and peace". You'll fall asleep on the second page.

My computer has crashed not once, not twice or four times, but six times so far this weekend.

If you tend toward introversion (which is a statistical probability based on the fact that you're a member of these forums) it's probably the latter. Overstimulation and mental exhaustion from all the people.

Oh, if I read the one I made this year I'd realize that I haven't made any progress toward them and likely never will. Luckily, with the power of denying my problems exist until they punch me in the face and force me to acknowledge them, I can continue doing useless shit for a little while longer!
