...Apparently I missed the deadline for signing up for a dorm for the Fall 2015/Spring 2016 semesters. Missed it by 2 hours.

Well. This is good. Don't know where I'll be living for the next 2 semesters. Or if I'll be able to afford living off-campus, which I'll probably have to do. Or if I'll even be attending the next two semesters now.
In a lot of places if you have a car/bike and are willing to share with some other people you can usually get a nicer place than most dorms for cheaper than what dorms cost. There is a reason that in a fair handful of colleges the only people that live on-campus are the freshman that have to, everybody else knows that with a couple other people and a little distance they can live in a much nicer house. :P

Don't have a bike, and parking around here is too shite and unreliable for me to want to rely on a car to get between classes. Also, primary problem with this idea is the whole "other people" bit. Don't know anyone, have no friends to live with, and don't want to live with other people anyway unless absolutely necessary or I know the people well enough to consider them friends and wouldn't hate having to be around them a bunch.

The snow is blowing so much that I can't see the road from the front of the store. So, of course, I've been very busy (and working alone.)

Egads, people are dumb.

Our cats have a habit of waiting ten seconds before going out when you open the door for them, so we've got into a habit of giving them a little push around the bum area to speed them up.

That backfired on me today when it turned out one of our cats has diarrhoea.
We always aimed for the back of the back legs. You just have to barely tap most cats on their back legs and they'll start to move (or at least most cat's I've met). Also, that's a rather shitty thing to happen. *wiggles eyebrows*.

But my mom wants me to get a haircut soon. IT'S MY HAIR, DANG IT. :(

Just lost ALL my progress in Dragon Age Awakening because of a stupid goddamn bug.

For those curious: There is a part where you are put in a jail thing and lose your equipment. You are supposed to get it all back while fighting your way out, but the bug means all my equipment is lost.

And all my saves were AFTER this point.

So I just lost all my super awesome legendary equipment forever. Much ragequit.

My fat cat had steadily slowed his eating for the last week or so. Now he seems to have stopped all together, and it doesn't matter what we give him (he seems really hungry, but just can't eat). He's losing energy and weight, and seems more depressed than normal, but the problem doesn't seem obvious. We can't afford to take him to the vet, but he's sort of getting on in age anyways. I'm afraid he's just dying, and there is little I can do to ease his apparent suffering.

Discussing a movie while watching it is the most fun part!

You don't discuss Pacific Rim.

You bathe in it.
