Most creative suicide was a greentext I read where a guy described a hypothetical plan to rent an expensive sports car, rob a bank or something in a furry suit, then get into a televised car chase, put a brick on the gas pedal, and hang himself from a hang-glider attached to the car, all while cops are chasing him and he's in a furry suit hang gliding from a speeding sports car on live tv.

Can't find the actual greentext, so this is hearsay, but take my word for it.

I want to make a really dark pun about dropping and suicide but I think I should probably hang it up.

I'm sorry I'm terrible. Gotta find the humour somewhere though.

Why is the phrase "greentext" suddenly popular here. I'd never seen the term used on this forum before until a week or so ago but recently it's been turning up everywhere. It's not like the phrase is actually new; so why is it just turning up here now?

Sorry, Objective.

Greentext I think comes from 4chan, so I'd think that people were visiting 4chan and saw it?

Um, sorry? Can't tell if this was directed at me but, uh, sorry. My joke was probably too dark.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

I think talking about suicide is healthy and most people think about it. In society its keept a tabo because people cant handle change, for example. My mate died and I started thinking "I cant hang out with him anymore, I miss his jokes, oh he would say this in this senario. But I didnt miss him as much as our interactions. Thats not to say I didnt love the fucker. But its the change that makes death a shock to our system. And the same thing can happen to any part of your life, like a change or a forseable change can make life seem unbearable. Because you where "comfortable" in your current situation. But that has happened all your life, and we got over it and get stronger.

If you or anybody else is thinking of suicide talk about it to people.
I did, and I realised my friends loved me more than I realised.
I dont want anybody to kill themselves.
If this was a letter the ink would have run

It's really a matter of context. I doubt that joking about the matter was the right thing to do in this case.

Yes agreed but we should talk about it, and eventually talking about it leads to joking about it.
Someone getting upset about the topic itself just needs to be talked to.
In a healthy matter of fact way of course.

Can I say this, I shouldnt even spoiler it. No I wont post my thoughts in fear of being struck down by a quick snap of a giant toad tongue and gobbled into nonexistance and stasis.

Personally I think you can find humour in anything if you try hard enough. Puns or jokes or whatever. Sharing the joke is a different matter though, and I probably should've kept my pun(s) to my self there. If I have to question whether what I'm posting should be posted or not, I probably shouldn't post it. Sorry.

And in the context of someone needing some support on the matter, probably not the best time to joke about it.

I messed up and I'm shutting up about it now. Please accept my humblest apologies for my distasteful display.
