It's not in human nature to do things asshole-y; that is upbringing or external influence. -_-
Oh Tir, promise me you'll never change~

True free speech meaning 'you can swear and call anyone else what you want to even if its very negative' isn't...really free speech.
Er, I kinda thought that the ability to criticize others was a cornerstone of free speech.

Not that pointless 4chan insults really get me going or anything. But free speech is saying what you want, which does include those terms.

Something that made me sad today.
A song from the concentration camps. It only becomes worse once you realize the last stanza might refer to death just as well as to liberation...

Of equal merit is this:

It's not in human nature to do things nice or kind; that is upbringing or external influence.

I'd like to refute this, but I don't want to start an argument.

...I'm starting to regret that post, so yeah, it's been.... edited, now. Just another thing to add to my "Things I shouldn't say since I value my membership in this community" list.

On a different note; I just screwed up what was going to be one of the better things I've drawn with an errant arm and a bottle of water. Dammit. ;~;

I'm not exactly affiliated with 4Chan, but, well...I do know that moot wasn't exactly the best guy.

But still, he was the founder or some bollocks. RIP. I guess. Hope 4Chan doesn't collapse, because then it might spread.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

This probably has to do with the late (Early?) hour, and the sentimental drivel I'm listening to, but I'm sad that I don't live in an idealised world where everything is black and white, and you know where you stand.

Makes me sad that the acronym of KKK is used for a...malevolent band.

Where I'm from--its the acronym of people who stood up for a sincerely good cause, echoed nowadays in the youth as a symbol of freedom (in its benevolent form).

I'm not saying either has much merit :P

Everything humans do is human nature.
There's a tiny bit in that argument though :P I'm leaning more along the description I did because--without the basic physiological needs for survival (having them been fulfilled), there's no need to be...err, asshole-y. I'm still curious (in the meaning of intrigued) to one regard regarding behavior: Why are we affected by such things--if we were not predisposed towards one way, even in part, which is 'good'?

Either way, yeah. I get yer point Dwarfy :P Tis a good one, but there are very tiny subtleties in yours and mine which skim over what makes the difference in people (by which, everyone is unique).

Heh, made me remember one lesson taught early in my school years. The 3 stages of personality x3
