Girl friend is upset
I tried to figure out why and she just tells me that she feels liked her family doesn't care for her
I know her dad does.
Then I ask if she wants to talk about it and she goes off on me
I say sorry and she said sorry
I say it's fine (not like I don't get yelled at by everyone anyways)
She says it's not
I ask why, then five minutes later with no response I just say sorry for even asking me
Now she won't even talk to me

Stuff like this doesn't go over well when I'm trying to do 3+ hours of math work!

E: I hope she's ok

I just got tricked into promising I'd go see 50 shades of grey with a friend.

Did get a free yes on anything I choose tho, but I don't think my mind is twisted enough to make the payback worthwhile.

Reminds me of a creepy ad I saw last night, for a 50 Shades audiobook. :-/

Impromptu extra sad: my stomach is insisting I feed it. Dangit stomach, I just woke up.

My mom came downstairs and said I needed to "help" with dinner, then took away my tablet and said I had five minutes to come up and cook or she was going to get very angry...
Then as she walked out she asked me why I wasn't coming and told me she had asked very nicely for my help.

I think that is something to be discussed--if at least with your guidance counselor (as it was noted to have an affect on you, pertaining to the attitude).

I have this terrible feeling that "This theory not only lacks predictive power, its retrospective explanatory power is so broad as to make it tautological - and therefore terrible science" is something I'll be saying a lot this semester. Bluh bluh this is what I get for hijacking the political science department's low standards to pay for a secret engineering degree.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Why do all these IF-type games make me want to bawl into a pillow? First it was Always Sometimes Monsters, and then Choice of Robots? It didn't help that my robot was basically a surgical equivalent of Baymax.

"I'll miss you, Sensei."
I'll miss you too, Miku.

Baymax... :'(
Also the first one has a kinda linear ending, sadly, despite the quality of everything beforehand.

You should get it etched onto a stamp, then whenever you need to apply it you just ink it up and apply to the sheet of paper/designated form/directly to the forehead.

Take the worst/kinkiest thing you see in that movie, search it on tumblr, crank it up to eleven.
Wait, friend of the same or the opposite sex?
