Is it just a tumour? Wait for the biopsy - it could very well be benign, don't worry too much until then. But her them extra loves because they will be super stressed out.

I can't - since I left for college. So I'm about 400 kms away.

I've literally learned it just today as an offhand mention while talking on the phone with my mom. But yeah, it is not confirmed yet, but she's drooling over everything, apparently.

Uhm... is that the only symptom? Cats drool a lot if they have teeth problems, which happens a lot when they get older. :l

In the midst of a 12 hour shift. Finally get to sit down after 9 hours. Having no backup for that long sucks.

Dummy accounts might be a good idea, actually. Make a few on sites you care about, never use them for anything, and if questioned explain that you just lurk (using terminology they'll understand, of course). You'll probably get yelled at for being "unsocial" or something absurd like that but knowing them they'd find something to yell at you about in literally any context. At least they won't have anything true to get pissy about.
This is actually a good idea, if browser is set to not save/clear cookies and other private info (like accounts and passwords). It doesn't help much if she sees all accounts you have when she clicks on the username field...

I asked cute redhead if she wanted to hang out. She told me that it was fine as long as it was just as friends since she'd been through a bad breakup recently. Kinda disappointed, but hey, I just like spending time with her, so it's OK if she just wants to be friends just for now or even forever. Not like I don't have crushes on half my friends anyway.

See, most people find this amusing, but all I can do is feel sorry for the cat because of its face in the fourth panel.

Stupid emotions. The cat's not even real!
._.
I fail to see how that is amusing... :-\

Makes you wonder what they want to do with all that piss.[/the hypocrisy is overwhelming]

Oh, right, also, I think I've established fairly conclusively that I have no free time during the week, which is great because it means I still have my weekends to do the entire cumulative week's worth of homework and whatever long-term projects I wind up with. Why did I do this to myself.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Any reasonable person would feel bad for that cat. Poor kitty...

Going to be going to a friends great grandmothers funeral/visitation thing tomorrow.
I also have to wear my blue airforce uniform tomorrow which barely fits.
I have no free time tomorrow, or today, or Thursday but Thursday is different and I have some nice stuff going on.

Making fun of people who spend so much effort on showing off what they do on social media they fail to actually enjoy any of it.
