I can't really work up the energy or willpower to do anything now, I'm just mentally exhausted.

Had a very cramped and rushed three-and-a-half hour flight from DC to Dallas yesterday with not enough water (flights dehydrate me very badly), nothing to eat since breakfast and no working phone charger. I was kind of a prick to my seatmates, who were kind to let me know so. I feel pretty bad about the whole thing.

I feel like I can relate to this a lot.
Which is probably why I try to stay away from that stuff as a general principle, because I don't want to wind up as an alcoholic like my father or uncles.
It's kind of a lose-lose situation at times.
Or at least it feels that way.

Jesus guys, no relationship is better than a relationship with an unsupportive SO. Sometimes being alone is preferable. (says the person who hasn't been alone since she was 15...)

Did you misread that as "There is no relationship better than one with an unsupportive SO"? Smeep was saying that it is better not to have a relationship than one with an unsupportive SO, I think.

You can't generalize these things due to the minor acts in attitude that differentiates all of them. :-\
