Still no good against Italian vampires, but he could always just sleep with a stake.

But then he'd attract werewolves!  :P

Maybe it could be a SILVER stake! Dogs don't like eating metal, right?

A silver of any variety won't help if he's asleep. The best option is coffee.

Replace blood with coffee, that should solve everything.

And that's how you become an adult, you transform yourself into some kind of steampunk Frankenstein monster powered by caffeine.

After months of doing everything I could to help my 17 year old cat, today we had her put to sleep.

http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=144476.msg5939948#msg5939948

At this point, she was having trouble even moving and as of this morning, taking even basic care of herself. She was only going to get worse and have a very minimal quality of life. The vet basically said there was nothing to be done. I am so sad and upset that I don't even know what to say. I've known this cat the majority of my life and better than most people. I realized exactly what I had to do and hated every minute of it. Her meows were not happy ones. They were drawn out and painful. She still nuzzled into my hand and purred all the way up to the end.

So I had to schedule an express appointment to have it done as soon as possible, because I can't stand seeing her in this state, which was a very sudden health drop in the course of a couple hours. Then I had to decide if I wanted to be there or not. I couldn't look her in the eyes knowing I was killing her as she nuzzled into my hand and managed to fucking pur. All I could manage was that I was sorry.

Fuck.

I'm sorry for your loss, Robot Parade. I too lost a 17 year old cat when I was 16. I can't really find words to describe that kind if loss. I'd give you a great hug if it wasn't for this internet between us.

I as well. It always hurts to lose someone you've known for most of your life, person or no.

I've kind of just had one of those days where not a damn thing goes right, everything attempted makes it worse and now I'm so stressed out I can't even form coherent sentences when I try to speak. Leaving me with no one to even talk to right now.

Besides like... A few minutes I could enjoy myself just a moment ago. That's been today in a nutshell.

Nearly cut ties with a friend I've known for two years (roughly). I didn't at the last moment, but it still hangs there on a thread. I don't know whether or not I should just tell him to fuck off for everything he's done, I'm afraid I'll be doing it because of a tiny clash of personality.
*grand shrug*
I have no damn idea!

We might be able to help, but more details would be needed. What has this person done to hurt you?

I don't even know what it was that happened anymore.

I just remembering being in an argument over something trivial, that I can't recall exactly what now.
I remembering asking if we could just drop the argument because it was over something so pointless.
And then I remember clutching my head, because it was throbbing with pain, and screaming for them to just stop talking for once in their fucking lives and shut the hell up.

It's like my memory just erased everything that happened 5 minutes ago. I can't remember anything of what happened, other than just the most vague parts, and the pain.
I can't really work up the energy or willpower to do anything now, I'm just mentally exhausted.

Ran my Sims LP turn and came across an underlying mechanic of the game that I kind of suspected something about, but made me really sad to see firsthand. Don't worry, though, nobody died this time.
