Evidently my mind is creating shoulder angels/demons in an effort to soothe my troubled mind.

Troubled, inevitably because I make things a lot more complicated than they need to be, because apparently not communicating with people would be a bad thing.

Sorry to hear that, Cryxis. May I ask what it was?

She doesn't exactly want me going about saying what she did
I just felt like posting my sad though....
It's nothing too horrible and she has learned never to do it again.
it wasn't sexual or anything like that.
I understand. Didn't think it was anything like that, and don't want to embarrass anyone.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

I stand corrected.

More fool me for reading too much into the Lord bit of LSP

Is what I also read.

But, I may have misconstrued it, the sentence could mean 'yet ANOTHER girl'.
Which would also be perfectly grammatically accurate.

My wife started reading Roald Dahl's "The Witches" to my 6 year old. For some reason, just one chapter in, she's decided that witches are the worlds most terrifying thing, and has been waking up once a night saying she doesn't feel safe in her bed. I do not even know how to start to deal with this. She refuses to accept that they aren't real. She can't sleep in our bed forever, but it's starting to get out of hand after about 5 days of it...

Introdruce her to Grim.

I can't remember whose kid he is, but he would teach her to appreciate those Witches, perhaps even get a birthday cake with them on it.

Also, what not to do: Dangle a witch dressed dummy behind her window.

How old is your wife :o? That's not normal behaviour for an adult.
