So... anyone doing stuff for NYE?
I was kinda thinking about going out and doing stuff but there's not much on and I've left it pretty late and I'm broke and also lazy. >.>
If it weren't for people mentioning it I wouldn't have even noticed it's New Year's.

I stopped a friend from killing herself by telling her I care about her and don't want her to die, and now she's getting really clingy and telling me she loves me. I feel like if I try to let her down at all, she's going to get depressed again and want to die, and if that happens, I'll feel like it's my fault.

I like her as a friend and all, but I don't want to date her. Especially if it's long distance.

Well, that's probably not the best way to start a new year :(

TBF waking up at 2am and drinking for the next 16hrs is probably how you're supposed to spend New Year's Eve. At least I woke up before the bells, which is something.

This guy outside the pub offered us speed at 2pm while this other guy invited us back to his house for some sort of debauchery. We had to do the fake lesbians thing. People are fucking weird.

Also it took way too long to type this post without a million spelling error thingies.

Edit: Do people really take up the offer of random drugs from totally fucking random people? Is this a thing? My brain just hurts thinking about it. -_- "Hey mang wanna come to our ground-hole and shoot up?" "Sure dude brt." "Gr8"

We had to do the fake lesbians thing.
Another B12er who I mistook for the wrong gender. It's too hard to keep track of who's who, can't we all just be asexual nongendered sponges for simplicity's sake?

ptsd attack. I lost two hours.

I wish I knew how to fix this. It's going to be a five-year anniversary as of April 10. I've made progress this year and don't lose entire afternoons being nonfunctional most of the time now, but it's still hard. I can't even really explain what's going on with me to others without the attacks getting more intense, and generally whatever I explain just makes others upset rather than helping them figure out how to get through whatever's going on, or at least relate to me like another human being.

I'm holding on, but I feel so lost and alone.

Hugs if you want 'em. Don't need an explanation to know you deserve not to have to deal with this.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Leave me out of this. I'm already an undead genderless abomination, you don't need to turn me into a squishy sponge.

What is the fake lesbians thing?

Pretending to be eachother's fiancée to ward off random guys who are like "hey bby u want som fuk"

Unfortunately this guy seemed to like the idea of gay women. The strategy may need some revision.

Unfortunatly, often the type of guy you're describing with also view lesbians as, at best, bi. And a couple as a walking threesome generator. I would just start mumbling about needing your herpes meds or something.

Pretending to be transgender lesbians?

Dunno where transgender-ness was mentioned anywhere.

No, I meant it as a joking fix to the hole in the lesbian plot... :/
