http://www.cnn.com/2014/12/27/world/asia/airasia-missing-plane/index.html That one I guess.

At least THIS time, they'd better get right on it.

Three guesses who owns AirAsia

The countries name rhymes with the name.

Yep, Malaysia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AirAsia They can't catch a break can they. Might be the Taiwanese one though?

I'm glad you did, if only so I didn't have to choose between Bearded Orange and Wizard Bearded Orange.

And a MALAYSIAN airline to boot. Gotta have sympathy for them, they were hit with the one back in March, then one of theirs got downed by someone over Ukraine, and now this.

Also, I checked the Taiwanese company and it's a repair and maintainence company, so, yeah, Malaysian.

I don't feel like doing anything. I'm bored. I'm bored but I don't feel like doing anything. Probably getting depressed. Whether I don't feel like doing anything because I'm depressed or I'm depressed because I don't feel like doing anything is debatable.

My life feels so pointless and empty.

Ugh. I've been brooding over telling my girlfriend about my essentially failed semester since I looked at my grades, but I didn't want to ruin Christmas for her, and now I'm sick with one hell of a cold so I can't tell her in person right now like I sorely want to so I'm just stuck with a knotted up ball of sickness and depression in my stomach.  :(

General apathy :|

Games meh, programming dunno how to do what I want to do. A non-tile based graphics library that supports sprite collision detection and spritesheets out of the box for python out of the box doesn't seem to exist. x_x

If you're sad about it, you're not apathetic enough.

You can be sad about being apathetic. "I wish I cared, but I don't..."

Increasingly I am doubting my family's views, so I don't even know myself anymore. There are two sides to every coin, and sometimes the only person who can see that is someone who looks in from the outside. Perhaps you're right, though I'd still debate the point of course.
What do you mean? Am I missing context?

Nah, it's just my family holds opinions they see as concrete where I see rubber. My dad is very kind, a better man you couldn't find, and he's not an idiot. But he's awfully close minded on a lot of points. I mentioned this once, saying that if the facts point to areas contrary to your view, you change your view. He said that if that happens, you make the facts fit your view.

He was being quite serious too :P

That's fairly common to human psychology, unfortunately.

I wouldn't go to such extremes as trying to change the facts, but you should definitely put up resistance to changing your ideas. Otherwise you'd just be agreeing with whatever you were told most recently.
