Now I'm listening to PSY at max volume in order to motivate myself chase myself out of my room. It's not really working.

my dad's my favorite family member. But he has pushed a lot of his issues down, so it's hard to get him to talk when he is hurting.

My dad's amazing, I just have very little relationship with him...
His previous job [retconed but probably easily guessed] kept him away from the family for all but like a month out of the year.
So for about 6 years of my childhood I only saw him roughly 1~2 months out of a year and that was broken apart into like a 1-1/2 a week a month maybe....
Ya that sucked
Now he's at home with a good managment job but it's overly stressful so all he does when he comes home is unwinds, watches football, talks on the phone for idiots at work calling him about crap, and naps
I don't blame him though since he's the guy that gets chewed out when everyone at work screws up, even though his job is for something different than babysitting everyone.
Ya I feel sorry for him

Let's forget the fact that apparently there's no reason for the employees, who are people it seems we need to remind ourselves, to spend time with their families on Christmas Eve. So people are told the store is closing and their answer is to just physically push their way in? Is there any foresight at all at work here? What did they think would happen? That's borderline if not actual cause to be arrested.

It's Christmas Eve, but that's ok, because the world revolves around everybody who insists they are too important.... [sigh]. And of course, this happened in Ohio.
