I watched "The Last Goodbye" made by Billy Boyd, which will play at the end of The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies, and it made me cry a bit, because it's going to be the last Middle-earth movie to come out, and I grew up with those movies :'(

Instead of working on my final projects for my Linguistics classes, I'm ogling Vespas on Craigslist.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

Ah, the art of procrastination. I am a master of that unsubtle game.

Also, Linguistics is a course I'm considering for next year. Granted, I'm sure my course would be different from yours, but would you recommend it?

Yes. It's pretty interesting. There's 2 general parts, phonetics and syntax, and chances are you'll love one and loathe the other.

I've read J.C. Catford's Practical Introduction to Phonetics and didn't hate it, so I suppose I'd be on the Phonetics side of the coin. (I know very little about syntax, mind, so I might like it.)

Went home from uni today and my room no longer felt like mine...

Goddammit, I've spent so much of my life moving on from things, why it it still so hard?    :(

Well, I actually visited a counciler a few days ago... Apparently my school just got one.
And we talked a bit (15 mins), got introduced and stuff, and she told me to come back whenever, normal stuff I think...

And then she went and told my parents I have no problems at all and am basically perfect and don't need any help. Just because she read my current marks in school and I have around 95s in most of my classes, and apparently that means I have nothing wrong at all.

Also, is being told I'm "very real" a complement? I think most people are... What's the alternative?

Well, it turns out Kaladin, that I'm just a figment of your imagination.  So you should be happy you're real.

Well, worked out it might not be haemorrhoids. Instead it might be a cut which we think is infected near my arse that just decided to bleed everywhere.

Hooray! No suppositories (possibly), and instead gauze and antibiotics!

Communication is key Kaladin. If she doesn't know you don't feel fine she can't tell your parents that either.

On that last part, being serious now, she is simply saying you don't hide anything and present who you are honestly.  It is a good trait to have.

Yeah, but I did talk to her! And then she basically ignored everything we talked about and told my parents I was perfect because I have good grades.

Oh, well that's too bad. Visit her again and hope and tell her you feel like she didn't listen?
