Read Wikipedia's sources instead. Or whatever you find on Google Scholar. Learning how to read and comprehend scientific articles is a lot more important than remembering random animal/plant facts.

As an optional alternative, get extra textbooks. Good ones are expensive but comprehensive.

Reading Wikipedia sources would actually probably achieve the same thing for free, though.

Either I know a lot of people who really overestimate other's ability to feel empathy, or I just have had a high number of traumatic experiences caused by my family and former friends which other people refuse to care about.

Also, I have been extremely depressed and running on sheer stubbornness for the past 3 months or so, my mother continues to nag me and feels the need to control how I look and act and insult me for not wanting to do what she wants me too, telling me I look like a huge nerd or I'm boring and don't have enough hobbies, and yet people keep telling my brother "oh you poor thing" and giving him all sorts of attention because he has a booboo near his eye.

You want to hear about a worse booboo near your eye? When you repeatedly ask your brother to stop spoiling the game you're playing, and he decides to come up and punch you in the eye so hard that it bends your glasses and almost jams the nose into your eye, and it becomes swollen and painful and you can't see correctly for almost a week. But did anyone ever say shit about that, the thing that their precious brother of Iron caused on purpose? No.

Yes, I'm a jealous asshole, hang me why don't you.

I've had to give my mother money to help pay for first and last month's rent on our apartment, and she says that she'll have to borrow even more off of me at a later time. My bank is looking pretty sorry right now. Luckily I won't have to pay much next semester for my school stuff. On the account of me failing miserably in some classes.

I don't know how I'm going to tell anybody that I'm doing so poorly. Everyone always say that I'm the most genios of teh world, which annoys the shit out of me. I'm not that smart, I don't know why everyone thinks I am.

It's my fault, of course. I've never studied. I'm not even certain how to study. I never do my homework. It was always done for me, and now I'm unaccustomed to having to do it myself. I can't say that I wanted to take this course. I basically just threw a dart at the wall and chose what it landed on to get my mother off of my back.

I don't even know what course I would want to take. I don't know what I like, and I find myself apathetic of a lot of things in my life. I'm just tired.
