(This really belongs in the Rage thread, but for obvious reasons I can't post it there.)

The slice of "vegetarian" pizza I was eating had a slice of meat hidden under the top layer of cheese.
I'm pretty sure it was real meat and not faux-meat, too- and there wasn't any other imitation meat elsewhere on the pizza, so it seems like the shitty pizza place that made it just dropped a chunk of it in there by accident.
Last time I eat pizza from that place, even if it is nearby. >:(
Now, if you'll excuse me, going to go brush my teeth vigorously and then drink until I forget all about it.

Ouch...

I'm fairly certain you'd have a good claim against them, btw.

You're a veggie, Yoink? We two should go booze up sometime...

I hadn't thought of that. Really?
Regardless, that sounds like rather too much effort for me to go to. Not like it was from a meat-free restaurant or anything.
I think I shall just deny them my custom, not that I go there very often anyway.

I am and yes we should! Next time I'm in Europe, for sure. ...That's the correct continent, right?

Did you send a complaint? I wouldn't recommend legal action if only because that would be dumb and pointless, but at least write a letter informing them that they messed up.

I'm no laywer, but I don't see what kind of legal action you could take. You're not allergic to the stuff, you just don't like eating it.

Yeah, I don't think legal action would really get anyway.
Might result in whoever made the pizza losing their job, but that's a maybe.

Legal action would be if you asked for a refund for them failing to deliver the product, and then they refused to pay you.
But really the price of a pizza isn't worth the bother.

Went to the supermarket for some errands. Saw two cats roaming around in an empty lot across the street.

Came back out of the store half an hour later and recognize a cat shaped pancake in the middle of the road. No idea if they were strays/feral or if someone's pet just got squished, but it's a bummer nontheless.

Rest in peace, random cat.

Every time I read the Project Orion Wikipedia page, I get depressed. Two weeks to Mars, if we just... kill one to ten people per launch.

Side note, Two Weeks to Mars would be a good name for a band.

Sickness worsened again.

And now people want me to drive them around today, again

at least it's Sunday, so the library's closed, and I have nothing to do, anyway.
