Weakness and jitters points to low calcium, but it's tricky - because calcium is involved in energy production, if you don't have enough sugar, like Helgo said, more calcium is used, and so...
Never considered calcium. I don't drink milk. Never really liked it. I'd have thought there'd be some calcium in stuff like cheeses I eat in meals at the dining hall.

Good God I feel bad. Really tired, still feel mentally feverish and jittery, got a headache, and I'm still so hungry oh my god how am I so hungry. Don't know whether I should take this stupid anti-depressant tonight or not. Feel like shite already and I have a test in the morning and I don't think I could afford another episode of late night side effects like the last night. I know the medical people warned me about feeling weird while first starting to take it but this is just awful.

If it's American cheese, odds are it's been processed to the circus and back, and any traces of calcium have long since vanished.

Here's the problem with food being named after a geographical region: I have no idea if you're talking about the variety of cheese called "American" or if you're talking about cheese made in America :P

You shouldn't have to worry as much about non-American American cheese. American cheese is kind of the worst offender.

Oh, by far. But I wouldn't be surprised if someone somewhere thought that ALL cheese made in the States is over-processed garbage when that's simply not true.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

American cheese isn't actually cheese. It's cheese product.

This is not a good pain. Kindness may not be what you need, Vector, if it's just more confusion, so, uh, sorry in advance for this post. For what it's worth, though, I don't doubt you. And if it's relevant, I'm not some stranger reaching out to offer you the help you need for inexplicable reasons - I have no help to give. I'm more than willing to serve as a sounding board if you ever want, though. I've been that sort of object to people before, and with a few caveats about excess I have no regrets. This post isn't really about me, though. In any case, I hope you get back on your feet soon, too. You deserve a measure of stability and safety.
