Long on one hand doesn't look very unusual, or particularly creepy. My brother's fairly unusual by local standards, though*. Probably wouldn't look out of place at a B12 meetup.

I just got the opportunity to practice guitar for the first time in months, but now I suck at doing things and my fingers are all soft because my calluses went away.
You should grow a single creepy long fingernail.

Trust me, chicks dig that shit.

The Chinese people do this, but only so they have a free, natural toothpick

why wouldnt they be

racist jokes are by definition racist

doesnt necessarily mean theyre bad or anything

unless you think everything thats racist is by definition bad

in which case racist jokes are bad

unless you think jokes are by definition good

in which case you have a paradox and you probably have shitty sense a humour

b-baka?

Not to be racist, but that was an appropriate quote from Father Ted, not a racist remark.

Hmmm... Apparently Father Ted is a sitcom character, so it's possible these are mostly distinct categories - if Father Ted is known for being a caricature of a racist. Like, if it's the same principle as quoting Homer Simpson in a discussion on nuclear safety.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

A good quote is a good quote.

People can be such elitists with "who has a say".

People can be a bit too stiff over race. It's a sad state of affairs when simple jests are taken so badly.

Its a tricky balance to make.

Because the goal is ultimately to have people go "Race? Who cares" but in order to achieve this you need to make a HUGE fuss over race and smack people who aren't racist, because they don't care about race, and who are racist, because they care about race, to stop being racist.

Causing a sort of endless ebb and flow of political correctness.
