Shit, that sucks. I dunno if it's possible (you, obviously, know better than I), but hopefully you can get it through by "Hey, these assholes don't speak for me, the injured party", but then again it might be about whose property it occurred on or who he contracted with (and therefore who his insurance covers) and blah blah blah. Good luck anyway. Your parents continue to be legendary assholes, and you deserve better.

EDIT: Shit I forgot, sorry.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

*Offers hugs to Truean and greatorder*

I just realized it's now been just over a week that I've been on my antidepressants. The major side effects are over now, but I still don't feel any noticeable difference, and I still feel exhausted all the time. Also my throat doesn't seem to be getting any better, but I'm getting used to it.
Family has been pissing me off lately, but I don't really want to talk about it right now.

My condolences, Greatorder. Death is always a difficult time.

Duuuuude. Two Worlds one was actually kinda fun. THEN AGAIN, that may be the nostalgia of me and my brother fucking around with it whence I was tiny and young.

Aah, memories.
I completely agree. My friends all hated it, though.

They usually take a couple of weeks to kick in. There's a funny/horrible side effect to that: Because they increase energy from day one, but better the mood only after a rather long time, antidepressants sometimes give the patient that bit of energy needed to actually go out and kill themselves.
Don't get any funny ideas is what I'm saying, I guess.

Actually, they're making me tired as shit, even though they're suppose to increase energy.
I'm not going to go kill myself, though, I've got enough to live for.

I also just noticed that I'm losing weight again.
Damn it, I'm already too skinny.

I just got the opportunity to practice guitar for the first time in months, but now I suck at doing things and my fingers are all soft because my calluses went away.

I appreciate it, guys. As I said, it's not too upsetting. Just a bit of a down.

Again, I can only assume that it's because I'd known it would happen months in advance, so I'd been able to come to terms with it. I get more upset thinking about how upset other (closer) people will be.

It can be like that. My condolences anyway, and e-hugs.

I really doubt you suck at doing all the things. There might be a few things you currently suck at, but practice makes perfect! I can personally attest to this. Also, callouses come back.

You should grow a single creepy long fingernail.

Trust me, chicks dig that shit.

Why would he need a single long fingernail? Long on one hand and short on the other, sure, my brother keeps his like that, but not just one.

True, but that makes you look slightly less like a child molester.

I am a child. Also, I'm fairly sure that neither of those options would be any less creepy.
