The Christian thread spent at least ten pages on discussing that and I'm pretty sure none of us got banned
Heck if anyone on there was going to get banned it was going to be me at that point

It was a blatantly dumb comment to make, I managed to catch it before the purge. Now let us never speak of it again. It is the topic that destroys lives, and has gotten multiple people banned I'm pretty sure at this point.

I know I suggested it should be dropped, but I just want to make one point. There's a Christianity thread that has remained civil enough to not even warrant a warning (that I noticed).  I'm pretty sure it's outlived multiple gamergate threads now...

At any rate, it wasn't about gamergate (i don't know why people keep insisting it was) but about a reported death- and bomb-threat against Anita. You know, the -other- feminism and misogyny scandal about gaming.

Not really. GG is new, AS has been around for about a year. I think AS weighed in on Quinn so it's become kind of blurred, but IIRC her talk wasn't going to be about GG anyway.
