I'm abysmally depressed right now. Why?

Does there have to be a reason? I just am.

OK, it might have to do with SAD (damn autumn why can't we get over with it and be a normal season already), it might be my horribly tense and twisted muscles, or gout (I'm too young to have that! I probably don't, but damn it feels like I do), it might be how rediculously stupid the work situation is (people are quitting faster than they can be hired, the guy who fixed the other issues is no longer directly influencing the situation so the guy he hired to do that is instead cutting corners again), it might be that I miss some people who could really cheer me up (at work, one might be back by December, the other will never because taking care of her son, who might be brain-damaged from that accident that took them all from us for these long, arduous months).



I don't know. I'm so frustrated by everything, but being angry at anything makes me mad at myself, which makes me sad. That other stuff isn't my responsiblity, so I shouldn't worry about the other staff quitting, or whatever, but it just bothers me so.

I have an intense burning hatred for algebra, and I know that algebra is (probably) useful.
It depresses having to do it, but meh I started doing it on the computer, I just did 2 lessons and I'm starting to get it. but still bleh algebra easy but depressing to do.

Welp, turns out I interrupted a class to announce that I had misread the syllabus. Yeah, that was a bad time to rely on the established precedent of the syllabus having some typos, when asked about stuff I was pretty sure wasn't in the reading. -100 graduate points, Bauglir.

For me, it's only sad in the sense of "oh, another member of the community is gone for good". After a certain remark he made earlier in the week, I'm not sad at all about him in particular leaving.

I try not to let my opinions about people colour my treatment of them. I say try. It means I'm an equal-opportunities arsehole more than anything else, but I digress.
Someone getting banned is always saddening for me. I can't say I'm surprised about tahu, given his... temper. It is sad nonetheless.
