I think you might need another medication, then. Not much point to taking pills that just change how you feel terrible.
Good luck with finding new antidepressants.

Eh. I'm hoping the bad parts get less horrible as the good parts kick in.
If I still feel like this in two weeks, I'm trying something else.

It was only about a glass and ahalf, and was from better times when I had a job. I've been forced to abstain from luxuries like good liquor until I find some worlk, so my tolelrance isn't what it used to eb.

Oh dear.

The 5 ibuprofen I took this morning have finally worn off, and I can now feel the full extent of every joint in my body rebeling against me.
This has progressed far worse than I anticipated.
Only 1 more hour of work...

I saw one of my patients (one with whom I got along pretty well, too) die today (not unexpected. It was a given). I kind of hoped not having to witness the event itself. Its never good but its even worse when you have rapport.

Kudos for his wife's bravery though. She was right by his side to the very end. She watched it happen.

I don't know what to say, other than I hope he didn't suffer.

Yoink, stop corrupting people. Drinking is bad, m'kay?  :P
Shut it, Mackey, no one asked you. >.>

This discussion has kinda made me want a liquor flask. I'd need a coat with a suitable pocket, though, so I could carry it over my heart to stop bullets in clichéd fashion.

Somebody needs to invent a liquor flask that double as a pocket Bible.

Found out that my brother's coming back this weekend. Not for Thanksgiving though.

A friend of his was run over and killed last week.

Ouch. Shit, yeah - I never even had to deal with rapport, being a tech. That is to say, my experiences there were rough enough, and still a couple orders of magnitude weaker than what a doctor who works directly with the patient is going to feel.

Good luck.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
