It always irritated me getting into debates with people about communism and socialism, but everyone here has been brain-washed to believe that anything less than christian democracy is THE DEVIL.

They even hate you if you point out that the United States operates under a republic, not even a true democracy, or that the constitution itself mandates to keep religion the fuck out of politics.
Assholes around here don't want democracy, they want theocracy.

Anyway, day 2 of new medicine. Yesterday, I spent most of the day after work in bed (or tried to, anyway), and I'm hoping it doesn't affect me as bad today.
Tried to explain to family that I don't like how I get sick whenever I try a new medicine, and they say "You get sick every single time you try a new medicine, I don't think it's the medicine doing it, it has to be something else."
Because that makes sense.
