A Chinese girl has a crush on me and I don't know how to nicely tell her that I have a girlfriend... We have never even had a conversation!
Uhm, has she even said "Yo, you're hot, let's bone bby" to you or anything? If not, you don't need to pre-empt her.

And if she does ask, say "I'm sorry, but I'm already taken." If she's reasonable, then no foul. If she reacts badly, then be a huge asshole and say "Why the fuck would I date you even if I *was* single if *that* is how you are going to react?"

@Caroline: If I were you, I'd talk to that teacher. Let her know at least that you don't think the same as your class-mates, even if you don't out yourself to her.

There's also a third question, namely 'If you and your girlfriend mind in the first place', but from the phrasing I'm guessing yes.
Yeah, she is mad at me for letting a girl have a crush on me. :(

So. Civics class today.
We have to copy notes and answer stuff from textbook. Textbook talks about how what we as a society consider wrong or right changes as our points of view and the things we base our opinions on change. Two examples are given by the teacher.
First one: Pre-marriage sex. People start complaining, teacher says she's not talking about personal opinion, but how society views it now contrasted to before. Things calm down.

Next example: Actual quote from teacher translated  "What do you kids do if you see a gay man? You immediately start assuming and saying, 'He's a bad person', 'That's messed up', or 'He's sick (as in mentally ill)'."
Classmates start arguing against the teacher. Argument that the US is full of gays comes up. Teacher says that we only have less because of lower population. Friend says that he thinks there are less gay people here because of religion and the bible. Teacher asks how that would change things. Kid says the bible states gay people will not go to heaven.
Teacher says that she believes in science, and that it is not someone's fault if they're gay, that they're born that way, and anyways she won't get angry at people for having different orientations. "There are just as many gays here as the U.S., but they never come out because of the ostracizing culture. They must live their lives hidden. In fact, it must be a horrible thing to be those people, or their parents, because of how our society treats them."
Another friend says, " Miss, if my son was gay, I'd grab the belt and beat him up until he became a man."
Teacher says you can't control what they're born as. Friend repeats, says "My son will be a MAN."
Classmates keep arguing, laughing at gays and saying offensive stuff.

After the class, I hear the first friend (one who talke about the bible) telling a girl about the teacher, in a slightly mocking way. He says that he believes people can be born differently, but that doesn't mean they are gay. Being gay, according to him, is an actual choice that you take. Girl agrees, says that gays are only gay because they choose so, and also says the same thing about trans people.

I think today the list of people I can trust shrank by a ton.

Wow that's terrible Caroline. I don't know if it ever comes up in your mind, but just remember that you're not broken in any way. You're a full human being with feelings and needs and dreams, and deserve to be treated as such.

Sounds... pretty stupid, truth be told. She's telling you to dictate another person's emotions.

Unless you mean it in the sense of 'letting them have a crush on you and not telling them you're not single', in which case it's a fairly valid reason to be annoyed.
I have never spoken to her, ever. It would be a bit hard to tell them I'm taken...

I'm a bit sad that my views are constantly getting slapped in the face

Also
This morning I had a realization that my political views are contradictory at some points .-.
I don't think that it means your views are terrible if some people who hold them are terrible.

I mean, that's the entire reason why Argumentum ad Hitlerum is a fallacy.

I had to look it up, but it was more or less what I thought it would be. Another name I saw for it was 'Argumentum Ad Nazium'.

The fallacy that because person X believes Y, then everyone who believes Y as well is evil.

Hitler drank water. Therefore everyone who consumes water is a Nazi.

I don't have any sads at the moment, I don't think. Mom's boyfriend is being a passive-aggressive dick for no reason and I'm out of my anxiety medication, but that's about it.

Is it wrong for a person with Christian/mid right wing views to prefer the communist party?

Christianity is in absolutely no respect incompatible with communism/socialism.

And generally speaking political views are a little more complicated than lefties and righties, so that's pretty much irrelevant.

Of course, it depends on *which* right-wing views, and *why* you prefer the reds. :P

I need to make this very clear

I do not support Marxism

Speaking of which, my mom thinks communism is one of the more anti-Christian political parties I could choose and she keeps trying to get me to be not open communist.

Saying you're a communist without supporting Marxism is like saying you're a Christian but you don't really like Jesus :P

So, again, I ask you the same two questions, only THIS time I'm gonna add in "Why don't you support [what you think] Marxism [is]?"
