Speaking of hating people, what does one do about hating oneself?
Change what you hate and find ways to transform that into something better.
Sounds easy--yet whatever 'hardship' may be seems more to be a set limitation by the person (though in cases of previous experiences/past childhood experiences, its more on learning how to overcome it by not focusing on whatever you hate which is learned from the past).
Hate does nothing but encounter worse feelings. It doesn't lead to wholesome development. :-\
Can you put this in language that the lowly peasants like me can understand?

I can't understand philosophical language  :-\

(I hope that didn't come across as mean or passive-aggressive....)

xD
Never even thought of it that [mean or passive-aggressive] way, silly!

> Check what exactly you hate about yourself, and how it becomes Objective (as in, how it 'manifests' into reality).
> Query thyself. Why do you do such an act? Are there other alternatives in thinking about [what that act may be a result of]?
> Never think of changing such as a hard task--keep moving forward, and keep persevering; keep searching on alternatives and reference or information resources around you on on the internet (or talk to someone who has experience with managing whateveryouhate)
> Try to remember when you developed [that thing you hate]: was it caused by something in the past? Parental upbringing. . .
Stuff like that.

I'm sad because of a lot of other people's problems which could never be my problem because I'm not an idiot in love.

It's someone very close to me, and trying to counsel them through this is like trying to convince a man with his eyes closed that he isn't blind.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Ugh had to listen to a fake "Art of Persuasion" video meant as a comedy that pretty much amounts to abusing women and being a braggart jerk...

And what makes me sad is... it would actually work on some people.

Oh, that's the way all of the real crap works - they sell you stuff that works on people with psychological weaknesses and rationalize failures away. vOv

What made me sad is the realisation I had just now that I know more about Bay12ers than people I interact daily IRL. I don't know why, but it makes me sad.

It's the only way to circumvent Tumblr's hate of able-bodied low-fat people.

I don't even get both of this. :-\
The best thing I can guess #proana is is of support for people with anorexia but seeing the Rage thread says otherwise.

If you search for #proana on Tumblr, a page comes up encouraging you to dial a help line for eating disorders. Nice of them, but apparently people are using #proanna instead. Somebody named Anna may be rather confused now.

I just hope somebody finds a post linking the whole thing to Starkin or Otherbeings or whatever bullshit and makes it hilarious for a few moments. God Tumblr is a cesspit of "no it's totally okay to completely ruin your health and endanger your life, as long as nobody's judging or oppressing you".

I imagine tumblr, the sjw part at least, to be poes outdoing poes.

Imagine one Poe, totally pwning people through wacky exaggerations. Another Poe sees this and, due to reasons, thinks that he/she had to step up their game and goes to do wacky exaggerations!

This is irrelevant isn't it? :P

I thought about starving myself down to a slightly sexier weight class.
But honestly bottom line is, I have a job and can't afford the lethargy that comes with having your major source of energy taken away.
So now I have to do that exercise thing, what a bummer.

Seriously have no idea how anorexic people function.

Impairedly.

Exercise gives you the benefit of making you less lethargic over time, if you do it regularly. Health frequently is all it's cracked up to be.

I do that accidentally, because (pathetically) I'm a college student who's still learning how to feed himself. It's not like I eat a lot of junk food, but I tend to forget about meals, and when I'm not on campus I often miss lunch.
